Turfgrass is non-returnable. In the interest of providing our customers with the finest turf possible, we cannot accept returned turf. Be sure and check your measurements carefully - remember we can always cut more if you don't have enough.

Triangle

Triangle
A=(Base x Height)/2
Example:
A Triangle's base is determined to be 10 feet and it's height (base to point) is 20 feet.
A= (10 x 20) / 2
A= 200 / 2
A= 100 square feet

Example:
A Circle's radius is determined to be 10 feet. Multiply 3.14 by the radius squared.

Measuring for Turfgrass

You've made the decision to install turfgrass and now you're wondering how much you are going to need. There's a small triangular spot in the corner, a round section near the walking path and a larger rectangular area near the back door. Turf is sold by the square foot. All of our turf is freshly cut on an ORDER ONLY basis. Our turf is mechanically cut into pieces and then carefully stacked on a pallet. We ask 12 hours notice for a pick up order and 24 hours notice for a delivery order.

One Piece of Turf will cover 7 square feet, is 18 inches wide by 56 inches long, and weighs approximately 30 lbs.
One Pallet of Turf will cover 455 square feet, contains 65 pieces, and weighs at least 2000 lbs.
One Truckload of Turf will cover a maximum of 9100 square feet and consists of 20 pallets
One Big Roll of Turf will cover 200 square feet and weighs 1000 lbs
